Annual Parent Survey
We Want to Hear From You!
Your input matters to us. Please take a few minutes to participate in our Annual Survey for parents. To access the survey, visit the District’s website, browardschools.com, and click on the Annual Survey icon. The survey takes place from January 5 – January 30, 2015, and is your opportunity to share your opinions and ideas about your child’s educational experience at Flamingo Elementary School.
To access the survey, you will need your child’s student ID number and date of birth. If you do not have your child’s student ID number (which is printed on school report cards) or if you do not have internet access at home, please call Mrs. C. McGrath and we can assist you. Thank you in advance for taking the time to participate in this important survey and for partnering with us in your child’s education.

Everyone wants to see children succeed in school and it can be frustrating when a child falls behind in learning. Flamingo Elementary uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) to help struggling students be successful in school. Parents play a critical role in supporting their child in school. To learn more about MTSS, please click here to view the attachment and then click here to view the video regarding MTSS.
Parents are welcome to provide input into the instructional and/or administrative performance evaluations. If you are interested, please contact our office by April 17, 2015, with your input.
In accordance with Florida Law, we are providing you with Flamingo's school financial report. Click here for the report and explanation of the data.

Anonymous Reporting/Silence Hurts
In Broward County Public Schools, our goal is to ensure a safe learning environment. Implementing programs that address bullying, making personal connections with each student, and providing an anonymous system for reporting potentially dangerous situations are some of the ways we meet this goal. Please click here for an anonymous link to report any of these situations.
